The Alpha Kappa Sigma chapter embodies the spirit of excellence and service, marking November as a month of impactful outreach. On November 8th, we kicked off our month by continuing our Blu Fridays Black Business Spotlight Tour at Milk and Honey, where we combined our efforts with a book and canned food drive, reinforcing our commitment to the community. The next day, November 9th, we inspired the next generation by taking members of our Sigma Beta Club to the Virginia State University Fall Open House. We enlightened our youth about exciting opportunities that await them post-graduation. On November 13th, in partnership with our esteemed Collegiate chapter, the Alpha Alpha Alpha Chapter at Virginia State University, we hosted a joint event focused on invaluable insights for a successful college journey, empowering future leaders. On November 16th, our dedicated Bro. Dr. William Willis championed premature awareness at Bethany Missionary Baptist Church, collaborating with our Sorors of the Alpha Omega Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. to spread important messages of hope and health.
